Maryellyn is the owner of Brow Envy located in Carlsbad, California. She is extremely passionate about helping you feel confident and comfortable. Her skills are specialized in defining and enhancing your features in the most natural ways possible.

From a very young age, she has always had an interest and a detailed eye for beauty. Cosmetics has always been her go-to and the one thing she was certain of. Self-taught and certified in makeup application, she started her first business straight out of high school at 18 years old. Offering makeup for weddings, brides, proms/dances, special events and lash extensions. Later deciding to attend beauty school to become licensed in cosmetology with a cross train in esthetics.

Straight out of beauty school she continued working for herself and began her career at Benefit Cosmetics. After managing the wax and makeup counter for several years, she took her knowledge and experience and opened up her own salon.

Eyebrow shaping/facial waxing became her specialty and knew she wanted to advance her services and train to offer permanent makeup as well. With over 15 years in the cosmetic industry, she has since attended several trainings/conferences. Certified in cosmetic tattooing by some of the most recognized artists in the industry. She is constantly striving to keep up and further her technique and continued education.
